DLA Piper advises Zirq Solutions on its acquisition of Letbek

Zirq Solutions, leading provider of recyclable and green solutions in the Nordics, announced on 9 December its acquisition of Letbek Holding ApS, a Danish pioneer within recyclable plastic solutions.

Founded in 1976, Letbek is a Danish pioneer within recyclable plastic in innovative solutions with inter alia the production of recyclable materials in Danish design classics such as Fritz Hansen. Letbek has facilities in Denmark and Poland.

Zirq Solutions is owned by Norsk Gjenvinning, which is a leading provider of green solutions and established to contribute to the green transition focusing on solutions relating to recycle medical waste. Norsk Gjenvinning expects to collect and process 1,000 tons of medical waste in 2022 to green solutions and the acquisition of Letbek will accelerate and expand Norsk Gjenvinning’s future green capacity in Europe.
