DLA Piper has advised Nordic Alpha Partners in connection with its acquisition of a significant minority stake in Additive Drives
Founded in 2017, Nordic Alpha Partners is one of Europe’s top greentech growth equity investment firms. Focused on European re-industrialisation and hypertransformation through advanced technologies, Nordic Alpha Partners has raised EUR 400 million across two funds for deployment across the Nordics and DACH regions. The firm partners with entrepreneurs and innovators to scale solutions addressing global challenges in energy, construction, industrial decarbonisation, and sustainability technology.
Additive Drives is a German manufacturer of next-generation electric motors, combining proprietary 3D-printing and conventional manufacturing processes to deliver highly efficient, lightweight, and rare earth-free motor designs and components. Founded in 2020, the company already serves a broad range of industrial, mobility, and infrastructure customers, where performance, reliability, and energy efficiency are critical.
With Nordic Alpha Partners joining as lead investor, Additive Drives can accelerate their mission to significantly reduce global energy consumption, enable new types of electrification and upgrade hundreds of sectors with the future of e-motors.
Thanks to Nordic Alpha Partners and leads Nikolaj Magne Larsen and Laurits Bach Sørensen for trusting us in partnering on legal side of this exiting venture.
