DLA Piper advises ABN AMRO Sustainable Impact Fund on its investment in Colorful Standard

DLA Piper has assisted ABN AMRO in its acquisition of 49 % of the share capital in the Danish founded eco-conscious fashion brand, Colorful Standard, through its Sustainable Impact Fund (SIF).

Colorful Standard is a minimalistic clothing brand producing organic and sustainable fashion, integrating environmentally friendly dye and recycled packing into their products. The clothes are designed in Denmark, made in Portugal, and shipped worldwide through more than 750 distributors.

With an aim of combining sustainable impact and financial returns, ABN AMRO SIF is focusing on businesses committed to accelerating the transition to a sustainable, inclusive society. The acquisition marks ABN AMRO SIF’s first step into the sustainable fashion industry.

The transaction was driven from Denmark with assistance from DLA Piper ABBC in Portugal, and led by a DLA Piper Denmark team consisting of Karsten Pedersen, Jacob Sørensen and Ida Boysen.
