DLA Piper advised the owners of Eegholm Group on the sale to the Nordic private equity fund Axcel

DLA Piper has assisted the owners of Eegholm Group with its sale of 100 % of the share capital to the Nordic private equity fund Axcel.

Founded in 1924, Eegholm Group has evolved into a leading Danish provider of electric control and power distribution panels, renowned for its customized, high-quality electric panels, technical expertise, and longstanding B2B customer relationships.

Eegholm Group employs over 230 people across Denmark and Poland, with production sites in both countries.

Simultaneously with the acquisition of Eegholm Group, Axcel has acquired Tic Elkas, another leading Danish company in the same field, from Dansk Ejerkapital. Together, Eegholm Group and Tic Elkas will become Denmark’s leading electronic panel manufacturer, with the ambition to create a market leader in Northern Europe.

The acquisition of Eegholm Group is expected to be completed in Q4 2023.
