For the 7th consecutive year, DLA Piper is the law firm assisting in the highest number of transactions in the Nordic region according to the Mergermarket Legal Advisor League Tables 2023.

Our lawyers in the Nordic region have been involved in 267 registered transactions in 2023. DLA Piper also tops the list of transaction volume globally and in Europe.

In Denmark, we maintain a strong position with 105 registered transactions during the year; a position we are proud to have held for the last three years.

This report provides insights and trends on M&A activity across the world. The most recent report is based on an analysis of approximately 800 private M&A deals undertaken in 2022 - including approximately 200 in the Nordics, 120 in the UK, 170 in Continental Europe, 250 in the US, and 50 in Asia Pacific. It also draws on the analysis of over 2,500 further deals undertaken in 2018-2021.
