Alexander Grønlund
Alexander Grønlund specialises in construction law and real estate.
At DLA Piper Denmark, Alexander coordinates legal newsletters on construction law.
He advises municipalities as well as turnkey and main contractors throughout all phases of construction projects and has extensive experience within aspects of construction law, including dispute resolution, survey proceedings, expert decisions, etc.
Furthermore, Alexander has experience of real-estate transactions and project development, including negotiations and the completion of sales and purchase processes.
He has also acted for non-profit housing associations and municipalities in connection with property transactions, property development and construction projects.
Alexander lectures in the law of obligations at the University of Copenhagen and co-authored the article “Bringing the Danish General Conditions into the 21st Century” published in Construction Law International (2020).

- Alexander acted for a Danish municipality in a matter where the contractor went bankrupt during a construction process. The matter was ongoing for two years and involved drafting new agreements and avoiding any dispute.
- Alexander acts in a major DKK 60m construction dispute regarding the construction of buildings for residential and commercial use.
