Martin Bolund-Bach

Martin Bolund-Bach deals especially with insolvency law, including the administration of bankruptcy estates and restructuring of distressed enterprises. 

Martin has experience of advising on the compulsory dissolution of companies as well as dealing with personal bankruptcies. Furthermore, he is experienced in conducting lawsuits before the Danish courts and sits on the panel of insolvency attorneys set up by the Danish Debt Collection Agency within the Aarhus judicial district. 

He is particularly engaged in avoidance proceedings and matters concerning illegal payments in connection with bankruptcy estates. Moreover, Martin deals with general issues of commercial law. 

Since 2021, Martin has been seconded to Crossbridge Energy, Fredericia, where he provides assistance relating to company-law compliance and the review of contracts etc. 

Martin co-authored ”Petitions for bankruptcy, third party payments and avoidance under the Danish Bankruptcy Act” (published in Danish only), Erhvervsjuridisk Tidsskrift (a Danish journal of commercial law), no. 2, 2022.

  • Martin participated in the administration of the bankruptcy estate of the Copenship Group, a dry cargo group, and dealt with e.g. shipping-law issues and aspects of international shipping and bankruptcy law.  
  • Martin participated in the administration of the bankruptcy estate of the Tribe Group, a hotel business group, and was involved in conducting avoidance investigations as well as investigations of intragroup issues etc.
