DLA Piper advises BPI on its acquisition of Färskvaruhuset i Göteborg
BPI has acquired Färskvaruhuset i Göteborg, and thereby strengthens its position in the Nordic region as a sourcing, sales, and logistics partner for the food retail industry. DLA Piper advised BPI in connection with the transaction.
Färskvaruhuset i Göteborg serves as a sourcing, sales, and logistics partner to the Swedish food retail industry, handling the procurement, storage, and distribution of food products within the Swedish market as well as cross-border trade with Norway.
BPI is an international food trading company headquartered in Denmark with several office representations worldwide. BPI consists of several business units, including Bulk Meat, Dairy Ingredients, Foodservice, and Retail, and BPI has strengthened its presence in the Nordic region through the acquisition of Färskvaruhuset i Göteborg.
