Atlas Copco Group has acquired the Danish filtration company, Danmil. Danmil was established in 1986 and designs, manufactures, and distributes process filtration solutions for the pharma as well as the food and beverage sector. In 2019 Danmil was sold to the AEB Group owned by the fund Seven2 (formerly APAX Partners) and the owner and CEO, Michael Lindh, who maintained a minority position in Danmil.

Atlas Copco is listed on the Swedish stock-exchange, and is a leading manufacturer of compressors, vacuum solutions, generators, pumps, power tools, and assembly systems. With the acquisition of Danmil, Atlas Copco will expand their liquid and gas filter product range, as stated in their press release.

A DLA Piper team consisting of Karsten Pedersen, Sara Schjørring, Ida Boysen and Kasper Fryd Jensen has advised the sellers, the AEB Group (owned by Seven2) and Michael Lindh, on the transaction.
