DLA Piper advises TDC on acquisition of Hiper

TDC will enhance its position in the broadband market even further following its acquisition of Hiper, which will now, with its 47,000 customers, be integrated into TDC’s content division, OpCo, as a separate legal entity.

The takeover will take effect as from the end of November and requires no prior regulatory approval.

DLA Piper has advised TDC throughout the transaction process, which began when Hiper approached TDC about a potential match. The DLA Piper team included Sebastian Ingversen, Andreas Brasch-Thomsen and Josephine Uhrbrand assisted by DLA Piper lawyers from other practice areas.
