DLA Piper advises Thomson Reuters on its acquisition of PLX AI

The Canadian multinational media conglomerate, Thomson Reuters (NYSE:TRI), announced on August 31 2022 its acquisition of PLX AI, a real-time financial news service powered by intelligence.

The Danish PLX AI ApS delivers breaking financial news and insight that moves stock prices, including surprise earnings, outlook changes, mergers and acquisitions, important orders or management decisions, from 1,500 companies across the U.S. and Europe, using natural language processing engines. The company will be integrated into Reuters News to scale the PLX AI technology to cover over 20,000 companies worldwide.
