DLA Piper assists PIB Group with the acquisition of Acquinex Group
PIB Group Ltd. has agreed to acquire Acquinex Group which is one of the first-ever acquisitions in Europe of a specialist Managing General Agency (MGA).
Formed in 2017 and headquartered in London, the Acquinex Group is a specialist Managing General Agency (MGA) focusing on providing bespoke M&A insurance products for small to mid-market deals across Europe, through offices in the UK, Denmark, Germany, and Poland.
The business has enjoyed rapid growth and includes insuring over 700 M&A deals, of which around 300 were in 2020.
