DLA Piper has advised Lærernes Pension on a billion-kroner acquisition in the Bella Quarter
DLA Piper has advised Lærernes Pension on the acquisition of the two residential properties, Trierhus and Gads Hus, in the Bellakvarter district of Ørestad.
The properties comprise a total of 258 residential units spread over approximately 18,441 square metres and were completed in 2021. With this transaction, Lærernes Pension significantly increases its presence in the area, where the pension fund has a clear strategy to expand its exposure to modern rental properties.
The seller is the international asset manager Patrizia, and the deal was completed as an off-market transaction with a value of over DKK 1 billion.
In recent years, Bellakvarter has developed into an attractive and well-established district in Copenhagen with strong tenant demand and stable operations, making the area particularly attractive for long-term investments in the residential segment.
The transaction was completed in collaboration with a number of advisers, including Keystone and Sweco on the buyer’s side, whilst CBRE represented the seller.
The transaction team from DLA Piper included Emilie Møller and Christina Neel Eiberg.
