DLA Piper has advised Reinevald Holding in connection with the sale of Jakobsens

Jakobsens has been sold to the Danish company Good Food Group, owned by Maj Invest.

Jakobsens is one of Scandinavia’s leading producers of honey with a wide range of conventional, organic and Fairtrade honey, as well as agave syrup for retail, catering and industrial purposes. Jakobsens primarily sells its products in Scandinavia but has recently started exporting to a long list of European countries as well as to China. Jakobsens is operated from the head office in Denmark and was owned by Reinevald Holding and a group of other investors.

Good Food Group is a Danish company which specializes in food products and is owned by Maj Invest. The companies in Good Food Group produce a wide range of food products which are offered both as branded and private label products such as Svansø and Skælskør Frugtplantage. Good Food Group is represented in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Poland, the UK and the USA and employs approx. 550 people.
