DLA Piper supports Cloudberry's strategic expansion in Denmark
Cloudberry Clean Energy ASA ("Cloudberry") has made a significant move in its Nordic growth strategy by acquiring a substantial portfolio of Danish and Norwegian renewable energy assets from Skovgaard Energy. The transaction, which adds 160 GWh of annual production capacity, strengthens Cloudberry’s position in the region while securing a pipeline of high-potential projects and an experienced local team.
The deal underscores Cloudberry's commitment to expanding its presence in the Nordics, leveraging Denmark's renewable energy leadership while delivering sustainable growth. Completion is expected in Q1 2025, pending regulatory approvals and final conditions.
