Kristoffer Dysted Bjarkov specialises in insolvency law and restructuring.
Kristoffer has in-depth expertise within insolvency law, including bankruptcy administration, in-court restructuring proceedings, advice relating to out-of-court turnaround processes, advice on the sale and purchase of distressed enterprises as well as advice to creditors with exposure to insolvent enterprises.
Kristoffer has a right of audience before the Danish High Courts and is a certified insolvency lawyer.
He advises both enterprises in distress and creditors on the initiating and handling of bankruptcy and restructuring proceedings. Kristoffer also advises distressed enterprises, financial creditors and other creditors on issues concerning collateral arrangements, avoidance, business transfers and management liability.
In addition, he advises on the compulsory dissolution of companies, including on the restoration and mergers of companies in compulsory dissolution. Moreover, Kristoffer also deals with voluntary liquidation of solvent enterprises. Furthermore, Kristoffer is engaged in issues of general commercial law and regularly conducts litigation before the Danish courts.
Kristoffer co-authored the article ”Petitions for bankruptcy, third party payments and avoidance under the Danish Bankruptcy Act” (published in Danish only), Erhvervsjuridisk Tidsskrift (a Danish journal of commercial law), no. 2, 2022.

- Kristoffer participated in the administration of the bankruptcy estate of B. Nygaard Sørensen A/S. B. Nygaard Sørensen A/S was a large Danish construction company, which completed projects within rebuilding and the construction of new buildings as well as renovation in design and build projects and multidisciplinary contracts with a focus on residential and institution building.
- Kristoffer was part of the team assisting in the successful in-court restructuring proceedings of KHR Architecture A/S. KHR Architecture A/S is one of the oldest architectural firms in Denmark with projects in both Denmark and abroad. The company is behind several award-winning building projects, including the Copenhagen Metro, the South Campus of University of Copenhagen, the University of Southern Denmark, former headquarters of Danish construction group Pihl & Søn, the New Forensic Psychiatry Centre Sct. Hans.
- Kristoffer was part of the team assisting in the in-court restructuring proceedings and subsequent bankruptcy administration of Feast Kitchen ApS, a Danish meal-kit provider which was behind the vegetarian meal boxes Simple Feast. Feast Kitchen ApS was a leading food manufacturer having approx. 100 employees and with a considerable regular food production.
