Lasse has a right of audience before the Danish High Courts and is recognised by IFLR1000 and The Legal 500 within ‘Energy’.
Lasse provides trusted advice to a number of energy and utility companies in Denmark. His services include assistance in connection with the launch of new activities and projects as well as the drawing up of contracts and regulations.
He advises on rates and connection charges, protection of supply lines as well as on reorganisations in the utilities sector. In addition, he provides advice on issues of procurement law. Furthermore, he provides assistance in connection with legal proceedings and disputes.
Lasse also holds courses and seminars on the legal relationship between supply-line owners and site owners (in Danish “gæsteprincippet”), connection charges as well as on procurement law for energy and utility companies.
- Lasse acted for Danish utility group Vestforsyning in a case of general public importance concerning the legal relationship between supply-line owners and site owners in connection with the construction of a motorway in Western Denmark.
- Lasse acts for Danish wastewater utility Morsø Spildevand A/S in close cooperation with DANVA (the Danish Water and Wastewater Association) in a case of general public importance concerning government road charges.
- Lasse conducted a case of general public importance, where the Eastern High Court of Denmark held that wastewater companies may charge additional connection charges when commercial properties are transferred to urban zones.
