All about ESG: From box-ticking to value creation
Together with the Cambridge Institute for Sustainable Leadership, DLA Piper has conducted the research study ‘Future of Boards’ (The Future of Boards | DLA Piper), which, among other things, has identified 22 trends in board work around the world.
These trends can serve as a support for boards in their work – not only in terms of complying with increased sustainability requirements – but also in taking an active role in the transition to a sustainable future and creating value for the company.
This is another episode in our podcast series on the EU's comprehensive ESG regulation. This time, we focus on one of the main points in the ‘Future of Boards’ report: how we move from simply ticking boxes to actually creating value when it comes to companies' ability to comply with EU ESG regulation.
The podcast is in English, and in the studio we have Alex Tamlyn, partner at DLA Piper UK and contributor to the ‘Future of Boards’ report, and Linda Nielsen, professor of Globalisation Law at the University of Copenhagen. The episode is hosted by journalist Magnus Krabbe.
