Broadnet / GlobalConnect, a Nordic IT group owned by the equity fond EQT, acquires 70% of the share capital of the Danish IT company Netteam, which is a Cisco gold partner providing consultancy services and network implementation solutions.

Netteam was established in 2001 by Peter Durup, who will keep the remaining 30% of the share capital. Netteam has just over 40 employees, and in 2018 the company recorded a gross profit of DKK 56.6 million and an operating profit of DKK 6.2 million. Broadnet is Norway's leading supplier of fibre-based data communication and broadband to business enterprises, and in 2018 the company merged with Danish GlobalConnect.

The transaction is subject to approval from the competition authorities.

Netteam was advised by Nicholas Lerche-Gredal, Michael Klöcker, Ditte Lundberg and Diana Sloth Nielsen.
