DLA Piper advises the owners of DANFOREL Group on the sale to Aller Aqua

With effect from 1 May 2022, Aller Aqua has taken over the Danforel Group 100%.

DANFOREL is one of Europe's preferred producers of trout fillets.

With the acquisition of Danforel Group, Aller Aqua will be able to control and develop the entire value chain from trout eggs to consumer packs of Danish farmed trout, as well as further develop the concept of producing high quality fish oil and protein for both human consumption and pet food and ingredients.

The acquisition will provide new capital for investments and operations as well as additional management resources to support the development in the future. Erik D. Hansen will continue as CEO of the Danforel Group.
