DLA Piper assists listed self-storage operator, Self Storage Group ASA with acquisition of Dit Pulterkammer
A deal team from DLA Piper Denmark lead by Real Estate M&A partner Thomas Albrechtsen has assisted the Norwegian, listed self-storage operator, Self Storage Group ASA and its Danish subsidiary, City Self-Storage A/S in connection with the acquisition from Olav W. Hansen A/S and Schur Finance A/S of the entire share capital in Dit Pulterkammer Holding A/S (“DPH”), a Danish regional self-storage operator.
DPH owns and operates five self-storage facilities on prime locations in Aarhus, Randers and Kolding – all sites in an attractive region in Denmark. The portfolio is expected to be rebranded as City Self-Storage. The combined Danish operations of SSG/City Self-Storage A/S and DPK will create a national player with a presence in Copenhagen, Aarhus and Odense and the number two player nationwide in terms of number of facilities.
The transaction has an enterprise value of DKK 102 million and is expected to close during the second quarter of 2021.
