DLA Piper Denmark has advised Sensata Technologies B.V. on the investment in Lithium Balance A/S

The transaction was completed in July 2019.

Sensata Technologies is a US listed company and one of the world’s leading suppliers of sensors and operating systems for the transport, building and industry sectors, etc., including the motor-vehicle industry.

Lithium Balance A/S is a battery manufacturer, and the aim of Sensata’s investment is to ensure the development of the company’s battery-operating systems and to provide Lithium Balance access to the motor-vehicle industry, the industrial sector as well as heavy-duty vehicles. Danish Ørsted and Chinese Zenlead are among the present co-owners.
