DLA Piper has advised EMK Capital backed EyeCare Group on the acquisition of Poul Stig Briller
Poul Stig Briller is a well-established Danish optical business with strong brands, loyal customer bases, and extensive industry experience.
The group is recognised for its high professional standards, personalised advisory services, and focus on premium optical solutions, and have built strong positions in the Danish market over several decades, operating seven stores, including six in Copenhagen and one in Næstved.
EyeCare Group is a leading European optical platform with operations across multiple European markets. The group pursues an active consolidation strategy within the fragmented optical sector and continues to expand its integrated network of optical retail businesses. EyeCare Group is backed by EMK Capital.
The transaction marks another strategic milestone in EyeCare Group’s continued expansion in the Nordic region and further strengthens its position as a leading consolidator in the European optical industry.
