Martin Franck

Martin is an experienced advisor specialising in real estate and procedural law and has over the years established a remarkable profile within advising on the taxation of real estate, real estate transactions (M&A), complaints concerning property valuation before the Danish appeals bodies as well as civil lawsuits before the Danish courts.

He provides trusted advice to property investors and developers, property companies, pension funds, municipalities and private clients on all matters relating to the sale, purchase and structuring of real estate - including in particular within property taxes, indirect taxes and the related optimisation. 

Having in-depth knowledge of property taxation, Martin ensures strategic and value-adding advice, taking legal and commercial considerations into account, and also provides advice in connection with local and municipal planning procedures to optimise the financial implications involved.

Within M&A, Martin deals with legal due diligence, contract drafting and transaction structuring. He has copious experience of real-estate acquisitions by both national and international players and works closely with his clients to ensure a smooth and legally robust process.

In addition, Martin has extensive experience of complaints before the Danish Tax Appeals Agency, Danish valuation appeals boards and the Danish National Tax Tribunal, where he has conducted several cases of general public importance concerning property valuations with great success.

He is well known for his analytic approach, clear communication skills and ability to turn complex legal issues into convincing argumentation in connection with complaints and lawsuits concerning property valuations.
