Per Vestergaard Pedersen advises Danish and international companies and public authorities. 

Per is recognised by IFLR1000 within Project development and by The Legal 500 within ‘Shipping and Transport’, ‘Environment’ and ‘Telecoms’.  

For more than 20 years, Per has advised and assisted companies in relation to shipping, transport, logistics, trade in goods as well as commercial agreements and matters. His assistance includes, among other matters, drafting of standard agreements and negotiation and making of agreements and their application in practice.

Per also advices and assists companies in relation to sustainability and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and rules thereon and companies' policies, procedures, reports, due diligence and agreement thereon

Per also has many years of experience in providing advice and assistance to companies and public authorities regarding natural resources, energy, environment, climate and international law. He also provides advice on telecommunications and communications satellites. 

Per advises and assists companies on the interpretation and application of rules on sanctions and expert controls as well as in relation to drafting and applying policies and procedures regarding compliance with the rules in that respect.  

Per is the author of the book "Transport Law: introduction to the rules on transport of goods" (title in Danish: "Transportret - introduktion til reglerne om transport af gods") and author and co-author of other books and articles on legal matters.

Recent highlights
  • Per acted for a global enterprise on the drafting of its standard agreements as well as on the negotiation and conclusion of specific agreements concerning transport and logistics. The agreements concern the supply of transport and logistics services as well as compliance with relevant rules and standards, also including issues relating to sustainability and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG). 
  • Per advised a number of global enterprises on the legal aspects relating to telecommunications, electronic communications networks and services as well as communications satellites networks and services. His advice also concerned regulation and agreements regarding the establishment and operation of such networks and services. 
  • Per advised several enterprises on the interpretation and application of rules on sanctions and export controls regarding their activities, transactions and owners as well as on the operation of subsidiaries in sanctioned countries. Per also acted for and assisted these enterprises on the drafting and application of their policies and procedures for complying with rules on sanctions and export controls, including regarding dual-use products.  
  • Per has for many years advised and assisted Naalakkersuisut (the Government of Greenland). His assistance has included advising on oil and gas, minerals, waterpower, energy and utilities, tourism, environment, climate, maritime issues, international law, maritime law, international agreements and the legal aspects relating to the Greenland Self-Government.
