Robotize was founded in 2016 in Lyngby, Denmark, by Anders Pjetursson, Bjørn Bahnsen, and Torben Melchior Hansen. The company specializes in the design of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) that are certified for automated and safe internal material transport within factories and warehouses.

Under their leadership, Robotize has evolved into a leading manufacturer of collaborative mobile robot solutions, recognized for its cutting-edge autonomous mobile robots.

On 22 October 2024, Robotize's owners finalized an agreement with Zetes, a leading specialist in supply chain execution solutions and part of the Panasonic Group. The agreement secured Zetes a 50% stake in Robotize alongside the current shareholders.

Zetes and Robotize share a mission: to deliver value-added solutions that enhance rather than replace human capabilities.

The owners of Robotize were advised by a DLA Piper Denmark team consisting of Karsten Pedersen, Kenni Svanholm Jensen, and Kasper Fryd Jensen. Thanks to Nicolai Fink Gundersen, Bjørn Bahnsen, Torben Melchior Hansen, Anders Pjetursson, Simon Sørensen, and Zetes Head of Legal Eline Meesseman for an intensive and professional process that made this a success.
