iMPREG develops and manufactures glass-fibre based pipe liners used for trenchless sewer rehabilitation. The solution involves considerably less excavation work than traditional excavation and replacement of pipes, and the installation time is considerably shorter. This makes the solution particularly suitable for renovating wiring in built-up areas, as traffic is less disturbed. iMPREG has companies in Denmark, Germany, USA and China under the iMPREG brand. BWB acquired the iMPREG group in 2016. Learn more about iMPREG.

BWB Partners was advised by DLA Piper Denmark by a team of Martin Christian Kruhl, Michael Vinther, Karsten Pedersen and Sara Schjørring throughout the transaction process with assistance from the Danish VDD-team, DLA Piper China, DLA Piper Germany and DLA Piper US in connection with the vendor due diligence process.

The transaction was signed 9 November 2019 and now awaits approval from the competition authorities before it can be completed. Read the press release at the investor page.
