DLA Piper assists Northern Horizon Capital in the forward purchase of a new private care home

A DLA Piper team led by Thomas Albrechtsen has advised Northern Horizon Capital on the forward purchase of a new private care home to be constructed in Esbjerg, Denmark, by the developers, KPC and Projektas. The care home will be operated by Danish Deacon Homes (Danske Diakonhjem), a leading independent, non-profit care provider in Denmark. 

When completed, the top modern care home will have 60 residential units, service areas, wellness facilities and function rooms covering a total floor area of 7,700 sqm. The facility will carry gold certification for sustainability from DGNG and is expected to be completed in November 2022. The purchase price is confidential.
