Ida Bryld specialises in M&A, providing advice throughout all phases of a transaction process.
Ida has a right of audience before the Danish High Courts and acts for clients in complex, threatened or pending arbitration proceedings relating to M&A, commercial issues, contract law and the law of damages.
She advises both Danish and international businesses, private equity funds and venture capital sponsors, financial institutions and insurance companies. Ida has experience in dealing with complex, lengthy and cross-border transactions.
Furthermore, she provides specialist advice in relation to the underwriting of W&I insurance.

- Ida acted for an asset manager, which had been joined as a party to a complex and lengthy action regarding foreign currency hedging.
- Ida acted for a major international group, partially owned by partners, in arbitration proceedings against two former shareholders. The subject matter of the proceedings was breach of contract and potential fraud in connection with the conclusion of a share purchase agreement and shareholders’ agreement. The proceedings were extensive and complex, involving many testimonies as to what had been agreed between the parties prior to a merger.
- Ida acted for two shareholders in a Danish company in a dispute against two other shareholders regarding the poor work efforts of the shareholders in question and thus their breach of the shareholders’ agreement. A key issue in the case was evidence of the poor work efforts compared to the efforts promised prior to the subscription for shares.
