Kristine Hansen
Kristine Hansen deals primarily with mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and general commercial and company law.
Kristine acts for both Danish and international enterprises on M&A and investments, including structuring of transactions, conduct of due-diligence processes and negotiation as well as drafting of transaction documents.
She also advises on general issues of commercial and company law, including shareholder issues, drafting of commercial contracts and company-law compliance.
Moreover, Kristine is highly experienced in major intra-group reorganisations, assisting in mergers, demergers, asset transfers, etc.
Finally, she advises on startups and provides assistance in handling early investments, including negotiating and drafting investment documents, as well as in introducing incentive schemes, etc.
- Kristine acted for Shell on Shell’s acquisition of Danish biogas producer Nature Energy at a total purchase price of nearly USD 2bn. Shell’s acquisition of Nature Energy was one of the largest Danish transactions that year.
- Kristine acted for the sellers of Resolux Group in connection with Gexpro Services’ strategic acquisition of Resolux Group for a purchase price totalling USD 36m.
- Kristine was part of the Danish team assisting Philip Morris International Inc. in the Danish due-diligence process in connection with Philip Morris International Inc.’s public offer of approx. USD 16bn to the shareholders in Swedish Match AB. It was a cross-border transaction involving DLA Piper offices in several jurisdictions.
