DLA Piper advises Montagu Private Equity and DEAS on the acquisition of Nordea Ejendomme
DEAS A/S, a property management company managing and operating properties all over Denmark, has entered into an agreement with Nordea Bank AB to take over the property management company Nordea Ejendomme.
On behalf of Nordea Liv & Pension and a number of institutional investors, Nordea Ejendomme manages a property portfolio of about 22 billion, and today the company is Denmark's largest provider of commercial premises with about 2,700 office, shop and warehouse leases and about 1,150 residential leases. The transaction is subject to approval from the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority.
In 2015, we advised the British equity fond Montagu Private Equity on the purchase of DEAS, and now we have assisted in the acquisition of Nordea Ejendomme.
Michael Vinther, Nicholas Lerche-Gredal, Michael Klöcker, Joachim Kundert Jensen, Martin Christian Kruhl, Jacob Sørensen, Ditte Lundberg, Kristoffer West Sørensen and Line Støving advised Montagu Private Equity and DEAS in connection with the transaction.
